With our onsite Cat Boarding facilities, we can offer you short or long term stay options, with your cat being cared for by our dedicated and highly trained nursing staff.
We’ve put together some information to help you prepare your cat for their time away from home.
All cats boarding with us are given a high quality diet suited to their specific individual needs and requirements. We supply all food and stock a wide range, so even the fussy eaters are well catered for. If your cat has a special dietary need please advise the admitting nurses. Whilst boarding, the cats are kept warm with fluffy blankets which will provide them with hours of peaceful sleeping time. There is no need to bring any bedding from home as it may become soiled and lost in the wash with our blankets. So in short nothing is needed to be brought in from home except your kitty cat!
All cats will need to be up to date with his/her annual vaccination and check up and be at least 18 weeks old. Vaccinations need to be updated at least 14 days prior to boarding. If boarding for the first time please bring in a current vaccination certificate prior to boarding.
Boarding your cat here at the veterinary clinic is a great opportunity to relax while you are away and know that your cat is in the hands of vets and nurses who can attend to any ailments or problems that may arise. Even for the most placid of cats, separation from the home environment can be very stressful, we take every care to ensure that cats boarding with us are as comfortable and relaxed as possible. We can also offer daily grooming and nail clipping (charges apply).
Want to know more? Just give us a call! We can even arrange inspections of our facilities, so you can feel at ease. Note that public holiday times fill quickly, so book your cat’s boarding early.
